Parents have option to monitor school lunch
Fort Payne City schools officials are offering a new service to help parents manage student lunch accounts. Child Nutrition Program Director Laran Crowe said the system now offers an online service to allow parents to monitor student’s lunch accounts and deposit money into those accounts.

Gmail Makes Some Calls
Google rolled out a new Gmail feature that allows users of the web-based email service to place calls directly to any phone. The company reported that calls to the U.S. and Canada will be free "for at least the relax of the year," with calls to other countries falling below the same rates as those applied to the Google Voice service.
